This Account, Verification & Deletion Policy explains how user accounts are created, verified, managed, suspended, and deleted on Hamdel, a community-specific dating and matchmaking application intended exclusively for members of the Ismaili Muslim community.
This policy should be read together with the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
1. Account Creation
To create an account on Hamdel, users must:

Use the App in good faith and for its intended purpose

Hamdel is intended exclusively for members of the Ismaili Muslim community.

Restrict, suspend, or remove accounts created in bad faith or misaligned with the platform’s intended community focus
Hamdel operates as a private, community-specific platform and does not guarantee access to all applicants.
3. Verification
3.1 Purpose of Verification
Verification helps:

Reduce fake profiles
Enhance user safety
Verification does not guarantee user behavior, intentions, or outcomes.
3.2 Types of Verification
Hamdel may use one or more of the following:
Photo or selfie verification
Government-issued identification uploads
Manual or automated review processes
Verification requirements may vary by feature, region, or risk profile.
3.3 Government ID Handling
ID documents are collected solely for verification and safety purposes
Hamdel does not extract biometric templates
Hamdel does not currently use third-party automated verification vendors
Access to verification materials is restricted to authorized personnel only

6. Account Deletion (User-Initiated)
6.1 How to Request Deletion

6.2 What Happens on Deletion
Upon deletion request:
The user profile is deactivated
Public visibility is removed
