Community Guidelines & Safety – Hamdel

Hamdel is a community-specific dating and matchmaking platform intended exclusively for members of the Ismaili Muslim community. These Community Guidelines & Safety rules are designed to promote respectful interactions, protect users, and maintain a safe environment.
By using Hamdel, you agree to follow these guidelines in addition to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1. Our Community Expectations
Hamdel is built on the principles of:

Honesty
Safety
Dignity
Users are expected to interact in good faith and treat others with courtesy at all times.
2. Prohibited Behavior
The following behavior is strictly prohibited on Hamdel:
Harassment & Abuse
Harassing, threatening, stalking, or intimidating other users
Bullying, shaming, or repeated unwanted contact
Encouraging self-harm or violence
Hate Speech & Discrimination
Hate speech or discriminatory behavior based on religion, gender, ethnicity, nationality, disability, or any protected characteristic
Content promoting violence or extremism
Sexual & Inappropriate Content
Pornographic or sexually explicit material
Sexual exploitation or solicitation
Obscene or vulgar content
Hamdel is a dating platform, not an adult content service.
3. Fraud, Scams & Financial Exploitation
You must not:
Ask for money, gifts, donations, investments, or financial assistance
Share payment details, UPI IDs, wallet addresses, or bank information
Promote business schemes, crypto, or investment opportunities
Attempt to move users off-platform for suspicious purposes
Scam-related behavior results in immediate suspension or permanent ban.
4. Authenticity & Profile Integrity
Users must:
Use real photos of themselves
Provide accurate profile information
Avoid impersonation or fake identities
You must not:
Use someone else’s photos
Create duplicate accounts
Misrepresent marital status, identity, or intent
Hamdel may request verification to maintain trust and safety.
5. Community-Specific Use
Hamdel is intended only for members of the Ismaili Muslim community.
Accounts may be:
Restricted
Suspended
Removed
if they do not align with the platform’s intended community focus or are created in bad faith.
6. Reporting & Blocking
Hamdel provides in-app tools to:
Report users or content
Block users
You are encouraged to report:
Harassment or abuse
Fake profiles
Scams or suspicious behavior
Inappropriate content
Reports are reviewed using automated and/or manual moderation.
Hamdel may take action without notifying the reported user or reporter of outcomes.
7. Safety Guidance (Important)
For your personal safety, Hamdel strongly recommends:
While Chatting
Keep early conversations within the app
Be cautious when sharing personal details
Do not share financial or identity information
Meeting in Person
Meet in public places
Inform a trusted person about your plans
Arrange your own transport
Trust your instincts and leave if uncomfortable
Hamdel is not responsible for offline interactions between users.
8. Verification & Trust Features
Hamdel may use verification features such as:
Photo or selfie verification
Government ID uploads (where applicable)
Verification:
Helps improve trust
Does not guarantee user behavior or intentions
Users should continue to exercise caution at all times.
9. Enforcement Actions
Violation of these Guidelines may result in:
Content removal
Feature restrictions
Temporary suspension
Permanent account termination
Serious violations (e.g. fraud, abuse, safety threats) may result in immediate and irreversible action.
Hamdel may also cooperate with law enforcement when legally required.
10. No Tolerance for Misuse
Hamdel is not to be used for:
Casual exploitation
Harassment
Financial gain
Illegal activity
Bypassing cultural or community norms
Misuse undermines the platform and will not be tolerated.

These Community Guidelines & Safety rules may be updated to reflect:

Safety concerns
Legal or regulatory requirements
Continued use of Hamdel constitutes acceptance of updated guidelines.
